Conceptual by design.

Collaborative by nature.

Connected in practice.

Professional learning and curriculum partnership for schools that want coherent, sustainable improvement.

Mission

ASJ Learning was founded to support educators and learning-focused organisations in designing professional learning and curriculum work that is intentional, coherent and grounded in practice.

Drawing on over two decades of classroom teaching, curriculum leadership, and work across the IB ecosystem, my work is shaped by a deep belief in the power of conceptual thinking to drive meaningful and transferable learning.

I partner with schools and organisations to develop approaches that are responsive to their context and sustainable over time. My work is inherently collaborative: it is built through dialogue, shared inquiry and a commitment to learning with educators, not simply delivering ideas to them.

Vision

At the heart of ASJ Learning is a focus on connection — between theory and practice, intention and implementation, individual expertise and collective capacity.

Through evidence-informed design and long-term partnerships, I aim to support learning experiences that improve practice and strengthen professional communities, one conversation and one school at a time.

curriculum partnerships

Choose the support you need, from deep workshops to long term partnership. Every collaboration is shaped by your context, your questions, and a commitment to sustainable improvement.

Concept-Based Curriculum and Instruction for the Thinking Classroom

A facilitated workshop experience that takes educators beyond activities and into deep engagement with concept-based learning. Designed for teams ready to grapple with complex ideas, challenge assumptions, and co-construct a shared understanding of how conceptual thinking develops.

Professional Development and Training

Inquiry-driven professional learning shaped around your questions, context and goals. Sessions can focus on concept-based curriculum design, inquiry as stance, project-based and interdisciplinary learning, authentic assessment, and literacy and writing.

Curriculum Design Partnership

Collaborative curriculum design support for new programmes or refreshed provision. We work together on conceptual anchors, inquiry framing, and assessment design, building your team’s capacity to design, implement and improve over time.

Accreditation, Evaluation and Inspection Support

Practical guidance that frames accreditation and inspection as reflective growth rather than compliance. Support can include timelines, documentation and staff learning that strengthens practice without overwhelming your community.
